  1. Get 1 lb ground beef
  2. Take 1/2 onion chopped

  7. Take 1 1/2 cups beef broth
  8. Prepare 1/4 cup tomato sauce

  10. Take 1 tsp each garlic powder, oregano, pepper

  12. Get 2 tbsp butter
  13. Take 1/4 cup milk

  1. In a pot, get potatoes boiling for about 20 min
  2. In a large skillet add ground beef, once almost cooked add onion and carrot. Cook about 5 min
  3. Add flour to ground beef mixture in skillet, low heat, then add beef broth and tomato sauce. Let simmer about 10 min
  4. Add peas, corn and seasonings to ground beef mixture. Keep simmering on low 5 min
  5. Drain potatoes, add milk and butter and whip (making mashed potatoes)
  6. In a casserole dish, add in beef mixture, top evenly with mashed potatoes then cheese
  7. Cook 20 min in a 400 degree oven
  8. BAM!! If your guy doesn't love this hearty meal, he can't be satisfied ;)
  9. Sometimes I add a few shakes of cayenne pepper and nutmeg to the beef. It adds a nice kick.
  10. Ready to serve and ENJOY!
