Steps to make Vegan Shepherds Pie:
  1. Fry the onions, garlic, mushrooms, celery, carrots and vegan mince in a large oiled pan for 20 mins on medium heat.
  2. Meanwhile, boil the potatoes until soft (~15 mins)
  3. In a small pan, boil the peas for 3 mins in 300ml of water then stir in the shepherds pie spice mix and boil for a further 3 mins. Keep stirring as the gravy will thicken
  4. Stir the peas/gravy mix into the frying pan mixture and remove from the heat. Pour in the final mixture into a large Pyrex dish
  5. Drain the potatoes and mash until smooth. Add the oat milk and stir. Spoon the potato mixture into the Pyrex dish and smooth over with the back of the spoon
  6. Add the bread crust, tsp of oil and garlic to a food processor and blend (or cut bread with scissors). Sprinkle the crumbs and yeast flakes over the potato in the pyrex dish
  7. Put the dish (without a lid) in the oven for 20 mins at 180°C until browned on top. And enjoy!
  8. Ready to serve and ENJOY!
